Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science and a minor in Russian from the University of Maryland in May 2024. Her senior research forced on using satellite chlorophyll and suspended sediment data in the Chesapeake Bay to investigate striped bass population recruitment. As an undergrad she interned with the NWS Ocean Prediction Center, working on a marine vessel weather avoidance study, with FEMA at the Office of National Capital Region Coordination, and on the NOAA Pisces research vessel in the Gulf of Maine collecting sediment samples to forecast red tide.
